In year 1996 there was great movie called 'Strange days'. Movie shocked me because it's story was put in expectation of new year 2000. And as we all know the millenium bug didn't appear. This movie has incredibly good soundtrack CD. I still beleive it should be on top 10 songs and it should be found on probably top 3 places. We can't manipulate with music charts but at least we can promote our wiches so the songs we beleive are the best can apear on any chart. Going down the chart you will see that all top music is based on online music shop and stores that sell any kind of music equipment. Majority of albums probably the top 10 albums is good selling stuff. What a peace of work are those albums. Nowdays with equipment that is basicly advanced version of old guitars, drums and some other music instruments. You can easly find out that top 20 songs basicly came out from top albums mentioned before. Now if we go deeper and analyze the artists of those albums we can see that top songs are created by less than 50 artists. Why is that? That's pretty simple. Not all of us are born to make music. For example let's take Bob Dylan - the legend in lyrics writing songs. No lyrics of new age groups is comparable to his lyrics. I't true that Bob doesn't have voice like Rihanna but the words are speaking for it self.
Now let's also get down to movie business. Some movies nowdays are cretaed with a budget over 500 mio $. Is this normal ??? Just to see movie on top list of top 10 movies people are willing to do anything to acchive that status. Star trek, Star wars, James Bond, ... All the great movies and the new episodes are still rising. When it will be end. On top 50 movies you can find probably some episodes of previously mentioned movies. Why don't they just create some TV shows that will run for 2 hours and then movies would be called tv shows. Anyway not to get boring with that stuff you can always watch short versioned movies called music video spots or music videos. In short time you can expirience story, revelation and happy ending (usualy). |
